My name is David Schuler and I am a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh's Media Arts Program where I learned many aspects of design, as well as 2D and 3D animation.

Since graduation I have been focused on the world of graphic design and illustration. I have done many freelance graphic design projects as well as my own personal ones, ranging from web design, Flash, logos, posters, and Illustration. One day I'd like either like to get a full time position as a graphic designer at a company or graphic design firm, or launch my own comic book series and work as a full time comic book artist.

I often find myself studying the composition of posters and commercials and analyzing the techniques that were used to make them, as well as how well (and how clever) they get their message across.

Some other interests of mine include traditional 35mm photography, reading, and writing. I am a huge fan of museums and I love to go to new places and meet new people. Generally I enjoy making people laugh and I try to be a lighthearted person who is easy to get along with.

Throughout and beyond my education I have learned new techniques and expanded my skills farther than I have ever expected. In the years post school my skills have continued to grow and I hope to continue this trend as my career takes off.

Thank you for taking the time to visit the site and I hope you like what you see.

-David Schuler
